Trio
(Madhusree, Madhurita and Amrita)
Started off as the Concord Trio, bringing out many albums from that label. The
RDB tribute "Sur Aaj Panchame" is on HMV, and they have called
themselves just "Trio". There are three sisters in the trio, and one of them is
arranger/composer Amit Banerjee's wife. The trio have developed a sound of their own, and
in most cases the original instruments are not used in their arrangements. In their
previous albums, they have sung remakes of "Aakash Keno daake", "Mohuay
Jomechhe Aaj" and "Ki Hobe Aaj"
