This doesn't really qualify as a "remake", but more as a cover
version as in known in the western world.
Even though there is only one song of Rahul Dev Burman on this album (Ae
Ki Holo), what makes it special is that it is sung as a tribute to R.D. Burman by Salil
Chowdhury's immensely talented daughter Antara. One must also commend the broad-minded
outlook Salil Chowdhury instilled in the music of his daughter.
The name of Antara's album is "Ek Gochha Swapno Kushum"
and is a tribute to Salil Chowdhury, Rahul Dev Burman and Hemanta Mukherjee. It was
released in 1994 by Atlantis Music, Wachel Mollah Mansion, 8 Lenin Sarani, Calcutta
